Overview

C-CIARN Forest focussed on issues relevant to the forest industry and forest-dependent communities. By connecting forest researchers, forest managers, policy-makers and community leaders, it helped advance understanding of the effects of a changing climate on forests. This C-CIARN office also endeavoured to assist the forest sector in developing and implementing effective adaptation strategies for forest management that take into consideration the reality of climate change.
