Overview

C-CIARN Water Resources facilitated impacts and adaptation measures by addressing issues of importance to stakeholders by organizing workshops, holding special sessions at conferences, and presenting impacts and adaptation issues at climate change venues. This C-CIARN office also published papers and reports on water resources related impacts and adaptation issues and made these available to stakeholders and researchers. Through these initiatives, it increased the visibility of the issue as well as researcher and stakeholder participation in related climate change research and helped to identify research priorities to better adapt water resources in Canada to climate variability and change.
